Cybersecurity: Erin Miller
Erin has over seven years of experience working with magazines and newspapers in various roles. Since 2018, she has worked as a freelance journalist, writing news and features on topics including Detroit’s emerging tech scene, small businesses, entrepreneurship, startups, policy and more. She has written for outlets such as Metro Times, HOUR Detroit, Model D and others.
Erin is an outspoken minimalist when it comes to her personal technology. She researches and writes on a 2017 MacBook Pro, and uses an iPhone 7 to stay organized (and take photos to post on VSCO). A lover of vintage technology, her other personal devices include a collection of old film cameras and a 1950s Smith-Corona portable typewriter.
Erin graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a bachelor's degree and a minor in political science.
