That’s right Guardians, your time is up. Apologies for the attention-grabbing header aside, there’s plenty of reason to believe that The Final Shape will truly be the end for all of our Guardians. And it all starts in December 2019, with the Season of Dawn. So let’s do a quick recap of that season to set this all up.
The Season of Dawn began with Osiris contacting you to ask for help defending a creation of his, The Sundial, as some Cabal Scions attempted to take control of it in order to change the outcome of The Red War in their favor. The Sundial (which, to oversimplify things, is essentially a fancy time machine) had been corrupted by the Psions in their attempts to harness it, inadvertently giving you the chance to go back in time and save the legendary Titan, Saint-14.
I won't go into too much detail about how that was done, because it's all very timeless and confusing (it was four years ago), but basically you went back to key moments in Saint-14's life to help him through them, and in doing so you became his source of inspiration. You gave him the hunting rifle you had collected from his own graveyard, 'Perfect Paradox' (not just a clever name), which you then used to rescue him from the Infinite Forest far in the future.
