There’s nothing like a surprise on the final day of Evo. And amidst the many great announcements of the biggest FGC titles, the show’s organizers didn’t miss out on anything: Evo will be hitting Europe for the first time late next year.

Evo France was announced live on stage by Rick Thiher to the crowd as the major event in Las Vegas drew to a close, with the French city of Nice being announced as the host city for the expo’s fourth edition in 2025. Organizers also revealed the dates for the 2025 circuit, with Los Angeles, Tokyo and Vegas once again set to host the biggest celebration of FGC esports.
The new location announcements didn’t stop there; Evo will also make another stop in Southeast Asia in 2026, with showrunners now settling on Singapore as the host city. Few details were shared about the French and Singaporean events and how they’ll measure up in scale to their American and Japanese counterparts, but Evo is truly going global.
The additional main event comes as Evo heads into new territory in 2024 following a major overhaul that kicked off with the LA show in February. From an expanded show floor to the addition of more titles and live arena finals, Evo’s growth has been remarkable to say the least. Evo has had a presence in Europe before with several Road to Evo qualifiers for various titles, but the esports-mad region has never hosted a full-fledged expo.
