Valheim recently announced its newest expansion, Ashlands, which is set to be the game’s penultimate region. While fans are excited about all the free additions Valheim has received and continues to receive, there is one feature they want that developers refuse to add: more inventory slots and less management.

An April 28 Reddit thread kicked off the discussion, claiming that developers will "never give Iron Gate inventory slots again" and that the studio had previously said it considers inventory management a skill. "Until this community makes this a voice, it won't change," the thread creator said, adding that there are numerous ways to fix annoying inventory management issues.

The commenters on the thread were all members of the PC Master Race and claimed that mods would easily fix all the inventory management issues that the devs continue to ignore. However, Valheim isn’t only available on PC and for Xbox users, there are no quick and easy tweaks to improve the quality of the game.

One player said an auto-loot ban would be a good start, as players tend to collect a lot of unnecessary materials, especially in the late game. Another suggested expanding the cart or giving the Lox mounts saddlebags. Backpacks or satchels that add a few extra slots would also be a good solution, many said.
