F1 24 players have criticised developer EA for locking customisation offers behind a premium currency, calling the move a "real scam".

The latest installment in the long-running franchise was released into Early Access on May 28, with F1 24 scheduled for full release on May 31, and the community is already in a frenzy.
An early access player of F1 24 posted on Reddit about the customization options, noting that by default there was only one option available for the race suit, gloves, helmet, pose, emote, and liveries. The additional liveries shown in the screenshot are purchase bonuses.
Instead of choosing from several standard options when customising a player in F1 24, your options are severely limited and you must instead purchase additional customisations using PitCoins, the game's premium currency.
