F1 24 has arrived, but EA's latest addition to the long-running franchise is still stuck in the paddock, and far from finishing at the front of the grid.
F1 Manager 2024 Review – Can This Car Simulator Take Pole Position?
With no driver changes on the grid for the new Formula 1 season, F1 24 has a tough job: it’s a significant upgrade over the 2023 version and well worth its $69.99 price tag. And it’s not quite up to that task yet.
While the racing simulator offers a slightly more authentic experience than its predecessors, with improved facial models of F1 superstars and the ability to play as your favorite driver in career mode, it's not enough to save F1 24.
The biggest problem for F1 24 is the handling. There are few things more important in a racing game than the ability to control the car and keep it on the track, but at times I found that impossible.
