Your hero is one of the most important inhabitants of your Fabledom kingdom. They can interact with nearby encounters, protect your kingdom from pesky monsters, complete quests, and enter the Arena of Trials. But if you don’t know how to use your hero properly, you could be missing out on valuable rewards.

When you first load into your kingdom, you may see mysterious structures or creatures, including abandoned graveyards, talking trees, ancient ruins, and more. If you click on one, you’ll see a description that says, “This is an encounter and you can interact with it using your hero.” It took me a while to figure out what a hero was and how to best use them to interact with these encounters. But once I did, my hero became my favorite mythical creature in my entire kingdom.
You can add a hero to your kingdom in Fabledom by building a Hero Quarters. You can only have one per kingdom, and you unlock this structure once you reach the third population milestone, when your kingdom reaches Village status.
