After initially testing Reels in Canada, Mexico and India, Facebook is now letting US users try out the short video format.

According to The Verge , Facebook has announced that it is expanding its region-limited test of Reels to some people in the US. Facebook reasons that users spend nearly half of their time on the app watching video content, and tells The Verge that Reels is growing rapidly.
Not everyone will be included, though, so it may take a while for Reels to appear in your feed. If you participate in this extended test, Reels should appear in your News Feed and in groups in the Facebook app.
If you are able and want to create your own Reels, you can either record directly from the app or import a video from your Camera Roll. If you have access to this test, you can also cross-post from Instagram to your Facebook account.
