While Fallout 4 has been nothing short of impressive since its launch, there have been a few bugs that have bothered players from time to time. The next-gen update brought fresh changes to the game and while there were positive updates such as the Codsworth bug being fixed, negative updates were not far behind. Mods are not working properly with the new update and there are a few other issues such as the Fallout 4 Crucible quest bug.
The Heavy Incinerator – Crucible, a Creation Club update for Fallout 4
While there is no permanent fix for this bug, the workaround involves players returning to a familiar location. This bug prevents players from attaching the Flame Resistant mods to the legs of their Power Armor. While this is a serious issue, there is a way to fix it.
The only way to fix the Fallout 4 Crucible quest bug is to go to the site where the Leg Armor was previously buried. Players will have to pick them up twice before they can attach the Flame Resistant mods. Players have had to reload saves that may have been that far back, which has caused a lot of issues. Unfortunately, this is the only way to fix it, and you will have to go back, no matter how long it takes.
Once you get the mods back, you’ll need to attach them specifically to the Power Armor legs and that should do the trick. Due to the next-gen update, there have been numerous bugs popping up around the Crucible Quest and those should be fixed soon enough. If you’re looking for further assistance, you can reach out to Bethesda Support for the same.
