So, you’re finally nearing the end of your journey across the Commonwealth—or maybe you just want to make sure you make the right choices when you get there. Either way, Fallout 4 keeps to the series’ tradition of offering multiple endings.

Thankfully, Fallout 4 doesn’t reduce ending choices to a binary button press at the end of the storyline (we’re looking at you, Fallout 3), instead allowing you to gravitate toward one faction or another over the course of the game. While this means that the eventual conclusion to the story feels more natural, it also means that the criteria for achieving certain endings isn’t the most clear-cut. We’ve broken down each ending and its requirements below to help you get the most satisfying conclusion to your Sole Survivor’s story.

The Brotherhood of Steel are the mascots of Bethesda's Fallout games (for better or worse), so it makes sense that theirs would be the easiest ending to achieve—and the canonical one, if the Fallout TV series is anything to go by.
