Fallout 4 is all about finding good loot, and you can't let a simple computer or lock get in the way of getting a new weapon.
Fallout 4: How to Hack Terminals – This Trick Makes It Easier!
In Fallout 4, there are two types of locked items: terminals and locks. Both are found throughout the world and can open doors (literally) to many secrets of the wasteland. Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about hacking and lockpicking in Fallout 4, including what perks you need and how to get good at them.
Initially, you can hack Novice terminals that are scattered throughout the wasteland. In order to hack Advanced, Expert, and Master terminals, you will need to level up the Hacker perk. The perk is located at the fourth level of the skill tree and requires you to invest points in Intelligence.
Hacking the terminal itself can be a tricky but fun experience. Find a terminal (they can look like desktop computers or be mounted on a wall) and interact with it. From there, you’ll be presented with a screen filled with random symbols and words.
