Fallout 4’s current-gen update, released on April 25, 2024, added a bunch of new items, quests, and activities for players to do. Players may have noticed one addition: Creation Club quests, and one of them is called “Speak of the Devil.” Here’s how to complete that quest and learn more about The Black Devil, who’s been helping the Commonwealth for years.

Talk of the Devil Walkthrough + How to Get into the Building

This quest is part of the current-gen update, so you'll need to make sure you have it downloaded in order to start it. Once you have it downloaded, go ahead and start the game and the quest will automatically start for you. If it doesn't start automatically, you may need to level up before you can actually complete it. If this is the case, just play through the game for a bit and you'll unlock it eventually. You can check your quest log to select it and learn more about the quest.

Once you've started the quest, you'll want to head to the Wattz Consumer Electronics building to research the story of The Black Devil. You'll find a Holotape about The Black Devil, as well as a note on a table under a poster of the hero. The note states that the writer is going to look for The Black Devil, a character who used to kill raiders when summoned. In order to summon him, local relay towers would play certain songs on the radio, letting him know that he was needed.

You want to go to Relay Tower 0MC-810 (which is nearby). There you will find a group of Enclave Soldiers and Richie's body. After killing the enemies, loot the "AM 810 Music Catalog" from Richie and read his note. He will mention that Connie went to the BADTFL Regional Offices with the other music catalog. Head to the terminal, extend the satellites (this will take a while), and then plug in the catalog Holotape that you got from Richie. From there you should select the option to transfer the song "Stars and Stripes Forever" to the terminal.
