Fallout London is the total Fallout 4 conversion we’ve all been waiting for, and it’s quite the experience so far. Here, I’ll break down the platforms, price, voice acting, and other details you might want to know before diving in.
How to play Fallout: London!
Fallout London is only available to play on PC, via Steam or GOG Galaxy. Due to the absolutely ridiculous size of the mod (about 6GB smaller than the Game of the Year Edition of Fallout 4), hosting it on Nexus (the usual place you'd expect to find mods) is a no-go, meaning it had to be hosted through GOG. And due to the use of Fallout 4's script extender, as well as some very large core changes to the base game files, this mod cannot be used on the Xbox version of the game either. (The Playstation version doesn't even allow custom assets, so that's a definite no-go in this case.)
Fallout London, despite being a game nearly as big as Fallout 4 itself, is completely free. You can get it yourself by heading over to the GOG page for the mod and downloading it directly through GOG Galaxy, or manually if you want a bit more control over where everything goes.
The map for Fallout London is described by the FOLON team as being roughly the same size as the base game map combined with the map for the Far Harbor DLC. While the base game may have miles and miles of that Massachusetts trash, here you're subject to a predominantly urban environment, meaning you'll have far more locations to navigate.
