Far Cry 6 – Pagan: Control DLC Review
FC6's Control DLC takes you to the fictional country of Kyrat. And the best part is that you get to play as Pagan Min and get to know him better. He is voiced by none other than the world-famous Troy Baker. Troy Baker once again shows his amazing talent and brings Pagan Min to life in a spectacular way. In my opinion, this DLC definitely makes up for all the missed opportunities in FC4.
If you played the first DLC of the FC6 season pass, Insanity, you might be happy to know that Control follows a similar path. The DLC opens with Pagan Min having a happy lunch with Ishwari, their daughter Lakshmana, and even Ajay Ghale. Suddenly, Pagan’s evil dark side appears and kills Lakshmana, before shooting Pagan dead. You wake up in Pagan’s trapped mind, trying to find ways to suppress your dark side and rejoin your family.
Like the previous DLC, since the events take place in the mind of Pagan, the entire Kyrat is based on the location of FC4, but slightly different. The entire open world is replaced by one big map that you can replay over and over again to get better loot. Yes, that's right. The gameplay follows the rogue-lite structure of the previous DLC and the difficulty of the game is divided into 5 different mind levels.
