When you arrive in Haven, the new village from The Rising Tide in Final Fantasy 16, you’ll be faced with a new challenge: earning the trust of the villagers. Understandably, the shopkeepers, blacksmiths, and stable owners of this strange land aren’t eager to trust you, an outsider. The quest to unlock the Haven merchant is called Pursuit of Knowledge, and becomes available when you sail to Mysidia with Shula in Final Fantasy 16's The Rising Tide DLC. Here's how to start it:
To complete Pursuit of Knowledge in Final Fantasy 16's The Rising Tide, speak to the guard at the city gates and follow the path to the river to find the merchant's daughter. Then, return to the village to bring the little girl to safety.
