As is customary with every expansion, Square Enix has launched the official Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail website , where all release and subsequent patch details are posted concurrently with The Lodestone. There are, however, a few new details surrounding Dawntrail's Field Operations content and the Arcadion that are sure to spark some discussion among players.

The first major detail quietly added to Dawntrail's website is what appears to be the official name for the expansion's new Field Operations content. A description on the Gameplay page calls it Shades' Triangle, and offers some very interesting lore about this hidden tropical island.
Even the most intrepid sailors would abandon ship rather than sail to Shades' Triangle. Don't be fooled by the lush and fertile island you see on the horizon ─ both men and ships have been lost to its lure, never to be seen again. Yes, the wisest course is to dismiss it as an illusion. But of course, there are inevitably those who cannot resist the call of adventure.
So essentially, it sounds like Dawntrail's new Field Operations content will take players to an area that's eerily reminiscent of Bermuda's Triangle, an infamous real-world location where boats and planes have mysteriously disappeared over the decades. As if there wasn't enough to get excited about with the upcoming expansion.
