There's already a ton of exciting stuff to look forward to in Final Fantasy XIV's Dawntrail expansion, and now it looks like Yoshi-P and his team may be announcing even more treasures for players to get their hands on. Fans are increasingly speculating that new concept art for Dawntrail's Solution Nine area also hints at some potential new items.

Along with news of new worlds coming to the Dynamis data center, the FFXIV development team has cryptically posted portions of an incredible new piece of concept art depicting Solution Nine in the upcoming Dawntrail expansion, all via Instagram. A fan shared a composite version on Reddit today, and the artwork is a futuristic marvel.

There is, however, a fixation on one particular piece of artwork (seen above) shared by the dev team earlier today, as it focuses on a gathering of Solution Nine citizens. While the glamours they’re wearing are all clearly familiar from older content, we can’t help but notice Hrothgar jamming out with a large jukebox on their shoulder.

Not only that, the Hyur character walking alongside them sports a long braided hairstyle, something that is currently missing from the game. FFXIV has long been notorious for its reluctance to embrace longer hairstyles due to “bleeding issues” with character gear and the general difficulty of animating them. However, players have been clamoring for more creative, longer hairstyles in the game for years.
