Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail patch 7.01 brings the long-awaited first tier of eight-person raids to the Arcadion, along with a new gear set. Here you can unlock the first tier of AAC Light-heavyweight fights, where the Warriors of Light take on opponents charged with the souls of beasts.
Arcadion M4S Guide – AAC Light-Heavyweight M4 Savage (Wicked Thunder)
The first tier of Arcadion offers the highest item level gear you can get so far at 710, with the exception of the jewelry and weapons available from the current Extreme Trials which grant the same. This gear is a great way to prepare for the upcoming Savage tier of the same fights. Savage is a hard difficulty 8-person raid coming with patch 7.05.
To unlock the Arcadion raid series, and the first round of four battles (known as the AAC Light-Heavyweight Tier), start the quest "A New Challenger Appears" with the NPC named Stylish Stranger. This lalafell runs the Arcadion and will serve as your guide and announcer for future battles.
Once you’ve completed the first quest of the Arcadion story, you can take a look at the gear you’ll be collecting to obtain. Hhihwi, with the Arcadion Relic Exchange at Nexus Arcade, is where you’ll be exchanging the tokens you’ve earned in your battles.
