Below are three different places where you can read your Gmail messages, and how to see the actual date of the message in each scenario.
While the message is open, move your mouse over the date/time.
Wait for the exact date and time to appear. For example, if the date is displayed as Jul 7, hovering over it will display the specific time the email was sent, such as Jul 7, 2019, 6:02 PM.
