Flight Simulator 2024, coming four years after its predecessor, takes things to the next level with uber-realistic environments. While that’s nothing new for the franchise, getting out of the plane and exploring areas that feel akin to a “first-person shooter” certainly is – and it’s led to Flight Simulator 2024 being at the top of my list of most anticipated titles coming this year.
In an interview with PCGamer on August 8, Jorge Neumann, the head of Microsoft Flight Simulator, detailed the graphical improvements coming to the game. Given that the 2020 edition was impressive enough, these additions look set to propel Flight Simulator 2024 into the stratosphere.
The eye-catching reveal provided insight into just how detailed the game will be, with the ability to land on any ship on Earth in real time, with their exact position transmitted via transponder signals.
