The answer to "Drifting Sheets of Ice" in today's NYT Mini is "FLOES." I'm sure I knew the word, but I couldn't remember it. I didn't have that feeling that we word game fans sometimes get that I was on the wrong track or had another answer right next to me wrong. I just couldn't remember it, unfortunately.
