Apple fans excited about the foldable iPhone may one day have a matching iPad to pair with it. At least, that’s the rumor: a large, foldable touchscreen that can transform into a 20-inch tablet or monitor. It could even arrive before the iPhone.

There are currently two rumors that are converging: a foldable iPad and a foldable MacBook. It could be the same device or completely different devices.
It makes sense. You have the smaller iPhone and the larger iPad. Instead of putting an even larger phone or tablet, why not throw macOS on it and call it a MacBook? That’s the idea if Ross Young’s foldable/rollable report is to be considered reliable.
It is not clear whether it will be a MacBook, however. In fact, it could very well end up in the tablet category: a foldable iPad with iPadOS.
