To celebrate the end of Fortnite's final season, Epic Games is launching the COLLISION event on June 4 at 4pm EST.
ROBOT vs MONSTER (Full Event in Replay Mode) Fortnite Live Event
COLLISION will pit players against a giant robot first seen in a previous event in 2019, which is intended to mark the end of Fortnite’s current Zero Point storyline. The event is a one-time deal; once it’s over, it won’t come back, so Epic Games strongly encourages players and streamers to get in on the action early.
Judging from the first image, the event will take place in some sort of frozen factory. Aside from the teaser image, not much is known about COLLISION. What is known is that players will "receive an exclusive loading screen and lobby [music] track." Leading up to launch, players will be able to try on new Mecha Weapons Team outfits.
Epic Games also recommends players complete any remaining quests and unlock pending rewards before the event, such as collecting any remaining in-game Omni Chips. They also recommend players leave the game lobby 30 minutes before the event's start time to reserve a spot.
