The past few hours have left players confused as it seemed like Fortnite had removed Split Screen or perhaps disabled the feature. But that’s not the case, they didn’t remove it permanently. They did it because of some recurring bugs. Read on as we explain the issue, why it was temporarily disabled, and what to do if it resumes and split screen still isn’t working.
The latest update to Fortnite v27.10 has disabled the Split Screen functionality due to some recurring issues. Fortnite has officially acknowledged the issue with a Twitter post about it. According to the post, there appears to be an issue with the game’s “Ready Up” and “Keep Playing Together” buttons.
