This article explains how to use Foursquare's Swarm app to share your location with friends while you're out exploring. You can download Swarm for free on iOS or Android and log in using credentials from Foursquare's City Guide app or Facebook.

Tap the Person icon in the bottom left corner to see a map summary of your location and check-ins, plus a timeline of your previous check-ins. Tap the map at the top of the screen to see nearby places you’ve visited.

If you haven’t checked in anywhere yet, you might not see much in your timeline. However, the app can provide a few check-in suggestions based on location data it picks up from your device’s GPS.

If you are a new user, the app will ask you to add friends. You can select Find Friends in Contacts and search for friends on all listed social media platforms.
