Players of Baldur's Gate 3 are growing tired of playing with the same character styles and races, and are now begging Larian Studios to introduce more unique races, especially those found in Dungeons & Dragons.

BG3 has been immensely popular for over a year now because most playthroughs are so different, with many fans choosing to play through multiple times. One thing doesn’t change though: every character must be built from the same few playable races, leading many today to state that they’d like to see many more races.
BG3 players were quick to name almost every race under the sun, but there were a few clear winners in the community poll on Reddit: Goblins, hobgoblins, Aasimars, and Tabaxi, all of which are certainly "unique."
Some would work better than others; BG3 already has multiple goblin and hobgoblin NPCs. Players would love to see these often hostile humanoid creatures become playable, especially since they're "cool" and would open up a whole new range of roleplaying options and fun dialogue choices.
