November 22, 2019: Verizon Wireless has pushed out a pair of updates for its Galaxy Tab A — 8.0 and 10.5 — devices. The smaller Tab A 8.0 gets software version T387VVRS2BSK2, while the larger 10.5-inch variant gets T597VVRS2BSK1. The updates only include the November 2019 security patch, and no feature improvements.

September 21, 2019: A new update is available for the Verizon Tab A 8.0 ich, model SM-T387, which addresses the mobile hotspot issue caused by the original Pie update. The update, dubbed T387VVRU1BSI1, also installs the September 2019 security patch.

September 19, 2019: Verizon has also pushed out the Android 9 Pie update to its Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 tablet, which arrives as T597VVRU2BSH4.
