GAM Esports has consistently represented their region on international stages since the 2022 League of Legends World Championship, and the 2024 Mid-Season Invitational was no different. But regional issues have hampered the team’s performance on more than one occasion, and now their historic jungler is calling for Riot’s support to help VCS get bigger and better.
The hidden tricks to gank as Levi!
Ahead of their final match at MSI, GAM's jungler, Đỗ "Levi" Duy Khánh, spoke candidly about the team's challenges at MSI, the fallout from the 2024 match-fixing investigations at VCS, and the lack of a LAN event in the region.
Levi recounted how Emo told the team that his mindset was “heavily affected” by the live crowd, something the jungler could relate to considering the team had played without a crowd the entire season. Levi expressed his personal disappointment and how sad he felt that there was no crowd for VCS, a competition he deeply loves.
“I would like to see [VCS] get bigger and better,” Levi continued. “I really hope that day, with Riot’s support, is not too far away.”
