Garmin Forerunner 745 Comprehensive Review // Running, cycling, strength training and more!
Fitness trackers from brands like Fitbit and Samsung are all-around crowd-pleasers that cover basic wellness well, but advanced wearables like the Garmin Forerunner 745 are on another level. Designed with athletes in mind, particularly triathletes, this premium multisport fitness tracker offers insights into everything from blood oxygen saturation to aerobic and anaerobic impact, training load and workout efficiency.
The Forerunner 745 monitors all of these valuable metrics in a comfortable form factor and packed with other connected features busy users will appreciate. Highlights include smartphone notifications, contactless payments, and the ability to store up to 500 songs to use this watch as a standalone music player while you’re on the trail, on your bike, or in the pool.
In my two weeks of use, I’ve only scratched the surface of what this watch can track, measure, and support. As a runner and very occasional cyclist, the Forerunner 745 truly felt like a personal coach and training partner for my workouts. But anyone curious to take their training to the next level or becoming a serious single- or multi-sport enthusiast will find valuable support and an easy user experience with this capable tracker.
