Gears 5 is as you would want it to be, although this is The Coalition’s second time working on the series. They delivered something different, but still managed to retain the familiarity that made the Gears of War series so beloved.
Gears 5 for PC Video Review
After Gears of War 4 came out, expectations weren’t met, while it’s a good Gears of War game, it couldn’t quite match what its rivals had to offer at the time, but this time around, things are a little different. Gears 5 isn’t the best game you’ll play, and it doesn’t need to be. Gears 5 delivers what it does best, comfortably nestled in a near-perfect storyline that does justice to the Gears of War series.
The beauty is in the small details and intricacies you find in the world around you; everything is made with a clear thought rather than just put somewhere. You can interact with the environment and sometimes take advantage of situations.
The game starts with a long recap, showing how the story developed from Gears of War 4 to where we are now. This time around we see Kait Diaz's story unfold, although we start out playing as JD, after a certain turn of events we step into Kait's shoes and from that moment on she is the protagonist who drives the story forward.
