It's not perfect, but GeForce Now is more than worth the price as long as you're not looking for the "Netflix for video games."
How to Enjoy PC Gaming Anywhere with NVIDIA GeForce NOW
At $10 a month and with a fairly limited library, Nvidia GeForce Now doesn’t have much to offer those already subscribed to services like Amazon Luna. But if you’re just looking for new ways to play the PC games you already own on more devices, GeForce Now could be worth the monthly investment.
“GeForce Now offers a slightly different approach than you might expect from a streaming service,” Josh Chambers, an editor at HowToGame, explained in an email interview. “First of all, you can use GeForce Now for free. It’s limited to one-hour play sessions, but for the ability to stream your games to a PC, Mac, or even your phone and not have to buy expensive internals, it’s [impressive].”
While the free version of GeForce Now is certainly worth checking out, the Priority plan is where you’ll really see the service shine. Though it’s recently doubled from its original $5 founder’s price, GeForce Now Priority gives you unlimited playtime and support for ray tracing and other high-end visual effects not available on other cloud gaming services.
