Quickly get statistics and count emails/items in Outlook
Virtually every business email account uses Outlook and Exchange Server to process user mail, and there’s a huge amount of data stored in those PST files. My own Outlook work PST file is nearly 2GB in size, so I wrote a post on how to optimize your PST file to make Outlook run faster.
Before I switched to Gmail completely, my personal email file was over 10GB! That's huge! It was essentially 8 years worth of emails. While Outlook allows you to organize your email into folders, etc., it doesn't actually have any statistics on your email usage.
Who have you written the most emails to? Who have you received the most emails from? Who has ultimately sent you the most data via email? What was the first and last message you received from a particular person?
