All three of the lead actors in Fallout's TV show were phenomenal, but it seems Walton Goggins' Ghoul received the biggest following and acclaim upon release. Now the actor has earned an Emmy nomination.
Shogun and Fallout Nominated for Emmys for Outstanding Drama Series
The Fallout Amazon series was released in April and immediately received love from fans and newcomers to the franchise. Critics seemed to love it too, with the Fallout TV show being nominated for 17 Emmys, including a nomination for Goggins in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series category.
That's a well-deserved drop in a very large bucket of nominations. Congrats, Walton!!! pic.twitter.com/Ov3LI8Obwq
Unlike Lucy and Maximus, the show's other two protagonists, Goggins' Ghoul appears in two timelines. One takes place in 2077, as the Great War begins, while the second takes place in a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles. This gave Goggins the chance to flex his acting muscles, portraying a character who reveals a political intrigue for the war and a ruthless mercenary in the wasteland reality.
