Google is adding a Time Insights panel to its desktop Calendar app, letting users see how much time they spend in meetings at work.
Google Adds Workspace Feature for Better Time Management
Google announced the new feature on its Workspace Updates blog, where the company noted that Time Insights will be gradually rolled out to select Workspace subscriptions over the next month.
The goal of Time Insights is to help people better manage their time and have more control over their schedules. The feature provides insight into how their work hours are being used and notes which meetings a user might have on a given day.
Users can also pin people they frequently contact to the People You Meet With section and view shared meetings in the calendar by hovering over their name.
