Google’s popular note-taking app Keep is getting a smart upgrade. First announced with the Pixel 9, a new Keep feature lets users harness the power of artificial intelligence to effortlessly create lists. The “Help me create a list” option lets users tap into AI assistance to help generate lists for different purposes. But the feature isn’t completely exclusive to Pixel 9 users.
7 Google Keep Tips Every User Should Know
This clever addition is currently available to all Pixel device owners and those with a Google One AI subscription.
For those who prefer the traditional way of making lists, Google has added a thoughtful toggle option. Users can easily disable the “Show help me create a list” feature from the app’s settings, allowing them to retain control over their note-taking experience.
While the feature is currently limited to Pixel users and Google One AI subscribers, it's possible that Google will expand its availability in the future. According to AndroidAuthority, you may not even need a Google One AI subscription, "but the number of requests you can make will be limited without it." At least some users may enjoy a smarter, more efficient way to create lists in Google Keep.
