If you care more about your crafting skills than a viral video presence, Google has a new video app for you in the vein of TikTok and Byte. This one, though, is all about sharing your knowledge in 60-second DIY videos.
Impressive Optical Illusions You Need to Try at Home
The new video app, called Tangi — a name that references the word “tangible” and possibly stands for “teaching and giving” — encourages you to share a video of a project you can teach someone else in 60 seconds or less, according to Engadget.
The app, which is available on the App Store but not yet on Google Play, lets you browse through different topics such as art, cooking, DIY, fashion and beauty, and lifestyle to find videos of projects that match your interests. You can also find Tangi on the website.
Not all videos are created equal. Some current Tangi creators would benefit from some practice holding the camera far enough away to see the craft being created, while others need to make sure their audio and voiceovers are more understandable.
