Google Photos has rolled out a handy new feature that gives users more control over what they see in their Memories. Nestled within the “Hide faces” settings, the “Show less” option lets you fine-tune your photo viewing experience.

What sets this feature apart is its nuanced approach. When you choose to show “less” of someone, they won’t appear in Memories, where they’re the main focus. They can still appear in group photos, though, as Google’s support page also notes.
It's a smart compromise that lets you keep your memories diverse without completely erasing anyone from your digital past.
There are a few different ways to access the settings. Here they are all, so you can choose whichever method seems most convenient.
