Google Photos is already a handy tool for browsing your photos and making minor adjustments to them on the fly. If you like Google Photos' editing functionality, you'll be happy to hear that the Mountain View company is now rolling out new features to the Photos app on Android that make it easier to tweak your photos as best as possible before sharing them with the world.
Within Google Photos NEW Editor
In this post, we'll discuss what the new Google Photos app has to offer and how to make the most of the new editor mode.
With the new update, the Photos app adds a new Suggestions tab in the Editor that uses machine learning to give you one-tap suggestions on how you want your photo edited. These suggestions intelligently adjust a photo’s brightness, contrast, and portrait effects to make your portraits, landscapes, sunsets, and other scenery pop.
To start, Google offers three core photo suggestions: Enhance, Black & White Portrait, and Color Pop. Google says it will be adding more suggestions for Pixel users in the coming months. When you apply a suggestion, you'll also be able to see the specific edits that changed your photo, so you can tweak it further.
