Google officially announced the new Pixel Buds A-Series on Thursday for $99.
Google Pixel Buds A-series review – 1 year later
The new Buds are available for pre-order with a release date of June 17, and come in olive green or white. While the Pixel Buds A-Series offer the same clear sound quality as the 2020 Pixel Buds model, The Verge reports that they offer a louder volume level overall.
Google also kept features from the original Pixel Buds, like hands-free Google voice commands and an IPX4 rating for water and sweat resistance, as well as a five-hour listening time on a full charge. The new A-series are also considerably more affordable than the original Pixel Buds, which cost $179.
However, the lower price doesn't mean you get wireless charging, volume control, and wind blocking.
