It's been a few years (2022) since Google released the original Pixel Buds Pro, but the company has finally released a newer version.
Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 Hands-On: A Major Upgrade
The new Pixel Buds Pro 2 were announced at the Made by Google event on Tuesday, and as many had hoped, they have a slightly larger battery, which should mean you’ll be able to get a whopping 30 hours of listening time out of them (8 hours with ANC). They also arrive with a slightly new form factor that brings back the wing design (albeit a slightly smaller one), which should mean they’ll stay seated in your ears better. And of course, there are new colors: Wintergreen, Porcelain, Hazel, and Peony.
On the software side, there are, as expected, a bunch of new Gemini AI features. Gemini helps power things like the Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency modes. It also powers hands-free calling and other calling features.
Finally, like with the new Pixel Watch 3, Google has added Ultra-Wideband, so you can now use the Find My Device network to locate your Buds if you misplace them.
