Google has shared an official sneak peek of the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro ahead of its Made by Google event next month.
Meet Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro
On YouTube, the company uploaded a short 23-second clip showing off the two phones from almost every angle. Over on the Google Store, meanwhile, the company has launched a new dedicated landing page that just so happens to feature a photo of the Pixel Watch 2.
After too many leaks to count, including some of their own making, the video confirms some of the pre-release information that has been circulating the internet for months. For instance, we now know for sure that Google will offer the Pixel 8 Pro in at least a “Porcelain” color scheme. Additionally, the video seemingly confirms that the Pixel 8 will have a smaller display than the Pixel 7’s 6.3-inch screen.
What the clip doesn’t show is the front of the Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro, so it’s still impossible to confirm whether the company’s new flagship will have a flat display, as has been widely rumored in recent weeks. Google also didn’t provide any details about the internals of the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, but it did share one intriguing clue. “Meet the new Pixel phones, featuring the most advanced Pixel cameras ever and Google AI to help you do more, faster,” the company writes on its storefront.
