This article explains how to use Google Takeout to create archives or move files. It includes information about the types of data you can delete and the reasons why you might want to use this service.
Google Takeout provides a convenient way to download or move your data to another device. It’s the easiest way to move your stuff from Google’s digital domain to your own. If this is your first time using Takeout, start with something manageable. We’ll use a photo album as an example in the following instructions.
Go to takeout.google.com and choose Deselect all. By default, Google Takeout will select all possible data and file types to include in the Takeout archive.
Scroll down and select the Google Photos checkbox.
