Google TV will soon offer users the ability to create personalized profiles, including separate watch lists, recommendations, and more.
Google TV is adding personalized profiles and watch lists soon
Viewers who rely on Google TV will soon be able to take advantage of personalized watchlists, recommendations and personal profiles, according to The Verge. Previously, Google TV let users sign in to multiple Google accounts, but still based all suggestions, watchlist features and Google Assistant functionality on the main account.
Google originally announced personalized profiles in early October. Now, Google has told The Verge that profiles will be rolling out next month to Chromecast with Google TV, as well as TVs from TCL and Sony that have Google TV built in.
Google also said it would allow apps and credentials to be used across profiles to make it easier for users to access things. Google will also offer ambient mode cards that you can look at to see personalized suggestions and results.
