Google has confirmed the Pixel Fold, its upcoming foldable smartphone, with more details expected to be revealed next week.
Google Pixel 9/Pro/Fold impressions: is it finally here?
After much speculation and rumors, the Pixel Fold has finally been officially revealed. Google confirmed the existence of the foldable phone via a tweet from the Made By Google Twitter account, promising that more information would be coming.
A short video included in the announcement shows off the Pixel Fold from a few different angles, showing off various elements like the camera bump, outer display, and larger inner display. It also appears to be offering large widgets, likely to take advantage of the increased screen space provided by the (rumored) 7.6-inch display.
Other (currently unverified) specs include a 120Hz refresh rate for both the inner and outer displays, 12GB of RAM, the use of Google's Tensor G2 chipset, and a 4,821mAh battery. The Pixel Fold is also said to come with a 48MP main camera with 5x optical (and up to 20x digital) zoom and a 10.8MP ultra-wide angle, along with 9.5MP outer and 8MP inner selfie cameras,
