Of all the bosses in Hades 2, Cyclops Polyphemus is one of the most frustrating to fight. What should have been a simple fight turns into a nightmare due to the amount of mechanics involved.

If you’re struggling with this one-eyed monster, let me help you out. Here’s how to beat the Cyclops Polyphemus boss and all of his rewards in Hades 2.
Before you fight the sheep-munching monster in Hades 2, I highly recommend bringing a Boon that can take out shields. The Melting Swipe boon on the Witch's Staff is a great choice, as your Dodge attack can melt 60 percent of the enemy's shield in one hit. You won't need this for the Cyclops, but you will need it for all the adds he spawns.
Otherwise, I recommend bringing as many Death Defies as possible, because this fight can get pretty dicey. There are too many things that can go wrong here in my opinion, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Cyclops Polyphemus weakened in an upcoming patch.
