As you progress through the regions in the medieval strategy RPG Wartales, you'll unlock new specializations with which to train your companions. If you're considering the Halberdier class, read on to learn how to best build one in Wartales.
Wartales Class Guide SPEARMAN – Best Builds & Gameplay Explanation
Halberdier is the fourth specialization option available to a Spearman in Wartales. It only becomes available after completing the Eye for an Eye quest, which can be started at the church in Cortia (see map above) in the County of Arthes.
To complete this quest you will first need to defeat all the opponents in Arthes Harbor Arena. You can find the arena by going through Shipwreck Cavern and you do not need the quest before entering the arena. Once you have defeated everyone in the arena, go to the church and talk to the NPCs there to learn this specialization option.
My favorite Halberdier build makes for an excellent support unit that can buff allies while dealing massive damage. They’re mobile and can easily retreat from combat without penalty, helping them get into the best strategic buffing position.
