The game’s developers, 343 Industries, recently revealed an open beta for Halo Infinite’s multiplayer component that rolled out on November 15, 2021, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of both Xbox and Halo.

One setting that can help you significantly improve your gameplay is Look Acceleration, which is what we’re going to explain in this post.

Look acceleration is the controller setting in Halo Infinite that determines how sensitively the game's character scales to the movement of your gamepad's right thumbstick. Since the right thumbstick in Halo Infinite is used to turn your character left or right, adjusting Look acceleration will determine how quickly you can shift your character's viewpoint.

Setting a higher value for Look Acceleration in Halo Infinite may allow you to get a higher turn speed, allowing your Spartan to instantly turn around with a quick sideways twist of the right thumbstick. This can affect your shot direction, as you may find it difficult to lock onto a target quickly or while moving.
