The first public beta of Android 12 doesn't show off many of the big changes the operating system will bring, but it's a good start.

The first beta of Android 12, announced at Google I/O 2021, is now live, giving users with select phones a taste of the changes the new operating system will bring. Between the Material You changes, which include the ability to set your phone’s system colors to match your wallpaper, and the new privacy features, Android 12 is a pretty radical departure from Android 11.
I've been using the beta for the past few days, and while not all updates are being pushed out, Android 12 is already starting to look as good as Google would have you believe.
While the first beta of Android 12 doesn’t bring us the full addition of Material You and the automatic theming feature (which can adjust the system and widget colors based on your wallpaper), there are some notable changes to the UI.
