Earlier this year, Dell unveiled a number of new Inspiron laptops. Four new models came out: a set of 2-in-1 laptops, the Inspiron 16 Plus and the Inspiron 14 Plus. Thanks to Dell, I had the chance to spend some time with the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus laptop, which features the Snapdragon X Plus X1P-64-100 processor.
Dell Inspiron 14 Plus Review – Laptop of the Year!
I tested the laptop extensively to see how it performs in everyday situations. After about two weeks of daily use, here is my opinion on what you can expect from this versatile device.
When I first unboxed it, I was immediately struck by how solid the laptop felt in my hands. Despite its compact size, it has a surprising heft to it that makes it feel durable and well-built. The Ice Blue chassis with its softly rounded edges adds a subtle touch of class that looks and feels far better than any photo. I was also pleased to see that the surface resists fingerprints well.
But what really stood out for me was the keyboard. The soft-touch keys felt almost rubbery under my fingers, which I knew from the start would make typing comfortable. I also liked the backlit keyboard, which made typing in low light much easier and gave the laptop a sleek glow.
