Hans Jasperson has been providing factual information and analysis to business leaders, policymakers, and consumers for over a decade. Since 2019, Hans has reviewed and edited articles for Investopedia and The Balance, focusing on the intersection of finance and technology. Throughout his career, he has researched hundreds of articles and product reviews on topics ranging from blockchain to roboadvisors.

Hans previously served for four years as director of public policy research for Management & Training Corporation, where he conducted research and drafted policy briefs on workforce development and career training, with an emphasis on educational technology. Prior to joining MTC, Hans was program director for the Salt Lake Community Action Program, where he worked with low-income communities to advocate for policies and resources to address economic inequality. There, he helped a small, paper-intensive nonprofit agency adopt digital technologies that dramatically improved service delivery and accountability.

Hans earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Language and Literature and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Utah.
